However, in this year's report, we were surprised to find that more than one mobile phone head company has a higher shipment growth rate in the field of RFID mobile phones this year, some more than 50%, and even some more than 80%.


There are three reasons why many companies have such a high growth rate of RFID handheld machines this year:

1. 3. The cost performance of RFID products is getting higher and higher: In recent years, the price of RFID products has been reduced, taking into account the substantial improvement of RFID work efficiency, the use of RFID products has become more and more cost-effective.


In the survey, in addition to understanding the growth rate of each company's mobile phone business, we are also concerned about the areas where these mobile phones are sold to customers. After synthesizing the research situation of several customers, we summarized the following areas where the shipments of RFID mobile phones grew rapidly this year:

1. Manufacturing

Many companies have talked about the largest increment of RFID mobile phones this year from the manufacturing industry, intelligent manufacturing is one of the key strategic directions of national industrial upgrading, with the continuous advancement of industry 4.0, mobile information solutions based on RFID mobile phones in the factory material and inventory management benefits outstanding, so it has been more and more manufacturing companies. In addition, the volume of China's manufacturing industry is very large, China's manufacturing industry added value ranked first in the world for 13 consecutive years, driven by the trend of full-link information transformation in the manufacturing industry, the demand for RFID mobile phones is actually very large.


Among them, China's new energy vehicles and photovoltaic manufacturing industry occupy a leading position in the world, and maintain a high growth rate in the case of a large base. The production of standard products such as automotive parts and photovoltaic silicon wafers and components is actually very suitable for combining with RFID technology, which can realize the full automation of most processes. 2. Government and enterprise departments

It is understood that RFID mobile phones in the government and enterprise sector growth is also very fast this year, especially in the tobacco field, the author guessed that this may be related to the successful application of RFID in power companies. China's electric power companies began to use RFID technology for tool and asset management in 2017. Later, due to the technical advantages of RFID, RFID has been used more and more widely in the power industry, ranging from important assets such as transformers, smart meter terminals, communication units, power appliances, to small materials such as optical fibers and wiring in computer rooms, logistics materials, and power grid assets. Power companies have affixed RFID tags for digital management, improving work efficiency and realizing more intelligent management through comprehensive informatization.

The successful application of RFID in the power company has played a demonstration role, and then RFID has been promoted to the court, railway and other industries, and the shipment growth rate is relatively high in the tobacco field this year.


3. Express logistics

Abroad, UPS has completed the use of RFID tags in its 100 sorting centers, announcing that it will invest $140 million to bring RFID technology online in 940 sorting centers in North America by 2023. In China, Jingdong large warehouse has also continued to use RFID tags for more than two years, and more and more express companies have begun to use recyclable transit bags with RFID electronic tags in response to policies.
